Internet Marketing Tips - Building That King Sized List

The money is in the list. I know you've heard it a zillion times before. There is a reason why. It's true. The money really IS in the list. It wasn't until I started building mine that I really saw success on the Internet. But okay, you're not sure where to begin. How DO you build that killer list? Is it as easy as people say it is? Well, it's really not all that hard if you know what you're doing. In this article, I'm going to share with you a simple system for building your list that should get you up and running in no time at all.

Step one is to start churning out some articles on the subject your business is about. In other words, if you're selling a natural acne cure, write some articles on the subject of acne, what causes it, how it's treated and so on. At the end of the article, in your resource box, direct the reader to where they can get a free report on the subject of natural acne cures.

Step two is to create that report. You want to give them as much info in it as they can in order to make an informed decision on what course of treatment they want to take. Hopefully, they'll decide to choose the course of treatment that you recommend...your natural cure. In the report, you'll include a link on how to get that natural cure.

Step three is how you actually build your list. That happens when people subscribe to get the report along with a newsletter that you're going to setup in order to give them more information. Signing up with a service like Aweber, you simply build a squeeze page with an opt in form and instruct the prospect to fill in their name and email address in order to get the free report and the newsletter. Reassure them that their info will not be shared with anybody and that you will never spam them. They will have to opt in to get this report and verify their email before they receive it. Aweber will take care of all of this.

That's all there is to it. Eventually, you will have a list of hundreds if not thousands of people. And it won't take you much work at all.

Building that king sized list isn't really that hard. You just have to know how to go about doing it.

Internet Marketing Tips - Finding a Profitable Hot Niche

Finding a niche to market online is not rocket science, it is more a game of numbers. People often ask, how do I find a hot niche to market? Well folks for starters you NEED to stop thinking like a marketer and start thinking like a consumer. This may seem like a hard task to some but really its not, all you have to do is research.

To find a hot niche you need to find out what people need. Everyone has problems and most people want to know how to solve their problems fast. One of the first things a lot of people do is search Google. I'll let you in one a little secret, Google is your best friend, Google is every internet marketers best friend, all you need to do is learn how to use it.

Thinking like a consumer here, let's say I have a problem with ants and I need a solution now. What do most people with problems do? They head over to Google and type in, "ant problems" in hopes that they find a solution to their problem. Or they could just type in, "get rid of ants" or "exterminate ants", if they only want natural products they could type in, "natural ant killers". Finding the problem is only half the battle I'm afraid.

Your next step is to find out how many hits the keyword phrases are getting. You can do this by using any free keyword service tool, I like to use Wordtracker. All you need to do is type in the keywords or phrase you're looking for, this will give you a daily tally for searches for those keywords. This is where the numbers games comes into play. You want to find keywords that have a significant number of search, if it's too low chances are there isn't much money to be made in that niche. You can then take your chosen keywords back to Google to see what the competition is. This will help give you an idea if you're a big fish in a little pond or a little fish in the ocean.

Finding a hot niche market comes down to numbers, you want something that is being looked for but not so much that the competition is sky high. Take a day or two to do research on a niche that you think may be profitable. Once you've found out all the information and numbers involved decide if you think it's worth it.
